Please refer to ASME IX for a better understanding as the welder is NOT qualified to weld P8 based on P1

 

You will require a new PQR for P8

Hello Everybody

 I have qualified (2005) GTAW     PQR#1 for  Material of  (P1 Gr 2) to ( P1 Gr 2).
I have WPS #1 for the same.

Welders qualify for WPS#1
I have question

1.If I want Welder to weld  Material Of P8 Gr 1
I have to develop new PQR ?
