These standards/rules explicitly apply for offshore structures where DNV rules, codes, design guidelines and inspection/certification is applicable.Many of the standards are free downloads and are excellent resources for knowledgebase.

 

The other resources would be:-

1. API RP 2A-WSD Recommended Practice for Planning, Designing and Constructing Fixed Offshore Platforms -

2. API RECOMMENDED PRACTICE 2X- Recommended Practice for Ultrasonic And Magnetic Examination of Offshore Structural Fabrication and Guidelines for Qualification of Technicians

Offshore platforms, especially, design,fabrication ,inspection would involve more than one codes. In order to get a fair idea of all the aspects, the above API RP's would be quite helpful.
