Oggetto: [MW:9195] corrosion on grith of weld joint
Dear All,
we facing a problem of corrosion on pipe adj cent to the butt weld joint, this happened due to unpainted of that area. as per project specification for weld girth be should be exposed (uncovered and unpainted) and temporary covered with making tape and to be removed during test. rest of pipe was painted,
this was found during blasting time, after hydro test.
can anybody say how to repair or rectify that area with reference to code (newly constructed line).
your reply is highly appreciable.
Regards
Sujay
