[MW:17337] SAE 3140 welding

Dear Friends,

  Which coated electrode could be used for the reconstruction of the last 100 mm of an axis made of SAE 3140 steel? The axis' diameter is 100 mm and the end to be reconstructed has been worn due to friction. My first guess would be E-309.
