Subject: [MW:17393] WPS

Dear All,

Your valuable comment is required on following cases.

1. Suppose, if i have a certified PQR for P1 Gr1 to P1Gr1 material with PWHT and impact testing. Process is GTAW and SMAW. Based on this PQR, can I prepare a WPS without impact testing, i.e for materials and design condition doesn't require impact testing. There is no issue in other variables.
2. Is it acceptable to apply a 'WPS prepared and approved for low temperature service with impact testing ' to a job, for which there is no requirement for impact testing.
