Re: [MW:17538] Welder Qualification Thickness Limit

Dear Saravanan,
1. No minimum thickness limit for welder Qualification.
2. Even in WPS, Weld Deposit Thickness has no minimum limit, only Base metal thickness has minimum Limit as per ASME Sec.IX.
Thanks and Best Regards,

Dear Experts

Welder qualification qualified thickness range under ASME Sec IX.
Only maximum qualified weld metal thickness limit given in QW-452.1(b). Is there any minimum thickness limit? Or the minimum thickness is as per WPS which is to be used for production weld? Please advice ….
 Thanks & Regards
Krish
